Products and methods for shadow removal

 

Even with effective graffiti removers, a shadow remover may sometimes be required to completely eliminate residual shadows. But how do you choose the right product and method? This might help you to achieve a perfect result!

Products:
OFF Tor – Alkaline shadow remover
OFF Tor Tixo – Thickened alkaline product when longer contact time is required
OFF Munin – Thin liquid acid
OFF Tyr Tunn – Thin liquid product that bleaches shadows
OFF Tyr Tixo – Thickened liquid product that bleaches shadows
OFF Hugin – A graffiti remover that is perfect for shadow removal with a polisher
OFF Graffiti Remover Eco Gel - Thickened graffiti remover marked with Good Environmental Choice for shadow removal with polishing machine

 

Methods:

1. Classic shadow removal - Application with a brush or roller. Effective time according to product information. Flushing with adapted pressure and temperature.
Surface: Porous surfaces
Products: OFF Tor, OFF Tor Tixo or OFF Munin

2. Plasting - Apply with a brush, cover the surface with plastic and leave to act according to product information. Rinse off with lukewarm water.
You use this method when traditional shadow removal has not given the desired result and the product needs a longer working time.
Surface: Highly porous surfaces (e.g. granite, marble, terrazzo)
Products: OFF Tyr Tunn or OFF Tyr Tixo

3. Polisher - Apply the product to the polishing pad and process the shadows. Wipe off with a cloth and water.
This method is used when the shadows require mechanical processing and high pressure cannot be used.
Surface: Non-porous surfaces (e.g. metal)
Products: OFF Hugin or OFF Graffiti Remover Eco Gel
